Usually, fish in clear water is better than in muddy water, but it is not absolute. Compared with clear water, there is no pollution, so there will be no problem in raising fish. However, as the saying goes, when the water is clear, there will be no fish, because algae are easier to adapt to the water environment than fish. If the water is clear enough to be unsuitable for algae growth, fish will naturally not live. There are many kinds of muddy water. If it is green water, fish farming is more suitable, while others are not.

1. Change water: The simplest and most direct way to make the water clear is to change water. Usually, it should be changed every five to seven days, and about a quarter of the water can be changed every time. If it is changed too much, it may cause certain irritation to the fish, thus affecting its health.

2. Filtration: Although changing water is immediate, it cannot be changed frequently. Usually, keeping water quality mainly depends on filtration. There are many filters, but to choose a suitable fish tank, it is not the filter with greater power or flow, the better. It is best not to use too strong filter in a small fish tank, otherwise it will make the fish swim all the time and consume its physical strength.

3. Feed less: During daily feeding, controlling the feeding amount can also make the water clear. Usually, the turbidity of water body is due to the large number of microorganisms, and these microorganisms also need organic matter such as fish food as nutrition, so the feeding is less, and the microorganisms will not multiply excessively to avoid turbidity of water body.
