Mickey fish is a common tropical fish. They are small in size, bright and beautiful in appearance, and are loved by many breeders. Because they are tropical fish, they can only be raised in water with higher water temperature, but not in cold water. They like to live in water at 22-25 ℃. In this temperature range, they are the most physically energetic.

If they are kept in water with too low a temperature, they will be frostbitten or frozen to death for a long time. Although they are tropical fish, the water temperature for raising them cannot exceed 30 ℃. When the temperature exceeds 30 ℃, the content of dissolved oxygen in water will decrease, and the skin of Mickey fish may be scalded. Therefore, when raising them, it is necessary to control the temperature within an appropriate range.

In the process of feeding Mickey fish, besides temperature, water quality is also an important problem that puzzles breeders. They like to live in weakly alkaline water, and the pH value of water is generally controlled between 7.0 and 7.5 in domestic breeding. Too much acid or alkali in water quality will cause harm to them.

If the water is too acidic, you can add some baking soda to the water for adjustment. If the water quality is too alkaline, some vinegar can be added to the water for adjustment. When raising them, it is necessary to keep the water clean. If conditions permit, you can add a filter to the water and change it once every 1-2 weeks. If there is no filter, try to change the water once every 3-4 days.
