Wild stone golden turtles cannot be raised personally, because they have been listed in the Red List of Endangered Species of the World Conservation Union (IUCN 2000 ver 3.1)-Endangered (EN), and also included in the second class of the List of National Key Protected Wild Animals in China. But only wild stone golden turtles are included in these catalogues, so artificially bred turtles can be raised. However, before breeding, we should also find relevant departments to handle the breeding license.
2. How to raise stone golden turtles1. Space: Although stone golden turtles are not particularly large, they also need enough space to move. Breeders had better prepare a bright and spacious container for them, and then prepare a balcony for them to climb up and rest. In addition, some plants can be planted around the balcony to simulate the native environment.
2. Feeding: Stone golden turtles are omnivorous animals, and they can eat many kinds of food. Breeders can feed them more animal feed, such as red worms, crayfish, lean meat, loach, earthworms, tadpoles and other foods. You can also eat some plant feed, such as aquatic plants, algae, apples, bananas, vegetables and so on.
3. Environment: The requirements of stone golden turtles on the environment are not high. Breeders usually keep the water temperature between 24-30 ℃ and ensure that the water quality is clean and fresh, so that they can grow better.
