The difficulty of raising map turtle and grass turtle is not high, and these two kinds of turtles belong to the one with lower difficulty of raising, while the difficulty of raising grass turtle is still relatively low. Because grass turtles have stronger adaptability, they can endure both high temperature and low temperature, and have low requirements for food, water temperature and water quality, so they are very easy to raise. Although map turtles, like grass turtles, do not have high requirements for food and water quality, they have high requirements for water temperature and need higher temperature to live normally. Young turtles, in particular, need water temperature between 26-28 ℃ to survive, so it is less difficult to raise grass turtles.
2. Can map turtles and grass turtles be raised togetherMap turtles can be raised together with grass turtles. Both of them belong to one of the more common species, which is very suitable for polyculture together. From the character point of view, the map turtle's character is lively and often moves back and forth, while the grass turtle's character is gentle and often lies in one place. If they are mixed together, there will be no conflict under normal circumstances. Moreover, the requirements of the two for the environment are similar, and polyculture together does not need to be deliberately adjusted.
In polyculture, breeders need to prepare a larger container for them so that they can have enough space to move. In addition, the map turtle has a strong ability to grab food, so the breeder had better feed the grass turtle first, and then feed the map turtle.
