The young tortoise can't be raised in deep water. They are sensitive to environmental changes in their infancy, and their physical strength is weak, so they can't live normally in deep water, so the water level is controlled below the carapace in their infancy. As adults, their physical strength will be stronger, and their body size will become bigger, and the water level they can adapt to will be higher. Breeders can keep the water level 2-3 times the height of their carapace.
