Tiger shrimp is a small ornamental shrimp, adult body length can only reach 2-3cm. In practice, if the breeding environment is suitable, there may be individuals that can grow larger, but their body length will not exceed 4 cm. If the tank used for breeding is relatively small, or the density of breeding is very large, it may also lead to the adult body length can not reach the average.
Tiger shrimp's life span is about 1-2 years. Their breeding is more difficult, if the breeding environment can not meet their requirements, their life span can not reach 1-2 years, may be shorter. But if the breeding environment is more suitable, some individuals with good genes can live longer. Therefore, if you want to keep them longer, you need to pay attention to adjusting the breeding environment.
Tiger prawn has a higher requirement for water. It is recommended to use water with PH value between 7.0 and 7.5, GH value between 7 and 8, and water temperature around 20 ℃. It's better for their growth. They are more afraid of ammonia, if the concentration of ammonia in water is high, they can not survive. Therefore, before entering the tank, the concentration of ammonia in the water should be measured, and if it is too high, the water needs to be changed. In order to maintain water quality, water can be changed every 10 days or so.
