It is also possible that the surrounding environment suddenly changed greatly, which led to a sharp decline in the resistance of Arowana, giving water mold an opportunity. It is also possible that the water quality is too poor, and a large number of water molds breed.

After Arowana suffers from water mold, the early symptoms are not obvious, and the fish body has only sporadic white spots, which are difficult to see without careful observation. In the middle period, white spots will spread into white spots, and there will be white flocs on the white spots. When the later stage is serious, the white spot will fester.

If the dragon fish water mold is not serious, the best treatment method is to change water, add salt and heat up first, so that if the water mold is not serious, it can be cured in a few days. It is not recommended to use drugs in the early stage, because too many drugs are used, which will make Arowana resistant to drugs. In the medium term, breeders can mix 0.04% salt with 0.04% baking soda and sprinkle it in the fish tank. For several days, the flocs will fall off. If in the later period, the breeder needs to smear the affected area with mercurochrome or iodine, and then use potassium permanganate solution or formalin medicated bath.

During the treatment of Arowana water mold, the breeder needs to stop filtering and feeding, and keep the water temperature at 30 ℃. As long as the water quality is not dirty, try not to change the water.
