When raising angelfish, there are many problems that need to be paid attention to, and water quality is one of the very important aspects. Only by providing clean water quality, angelfish's physique will be good. Living in turbid water, angelfish are prone to illness and hypoxia. Therefore, it is better to change the water regularly. However, water change does not need to be too frequent, in general, it is not necessary to change once a day, too frequent water change can easily lead to angelfish do not adapt to the new environment.
Before changing the water, you can first observe the state of the water in the fish tank. If it begins to become turbid or there are impurities in it, it needs to be changed. The approximate frequency should be controlled once every 3-5 days. Every time you change the water, you can change between one quarter and one third of the whole, not too much, otherwise the water temperature is prone to drastic changes, which will lead to the inadaptability of angelfish. If you don't have time to change water regularly, you can prepare filters and other tools. But even if there is a filter, do not leave it for a long time. Moreover, it should be noted that when the angelfish is sick, they have to change water and disinfect in time.
Angelfish do not have too high requirements for the type of water. Neutral, slightly acidic or alkaline water is OK. Usually, they can use tap water at home when they breed. However, tap water can contain some chlorine, which is harmful to fish. Therefore, it is better to put them in the sun for two or three days before using them, and then use them after removing the chlorine.
