If the water temperature of goldfish is lower than 16 degrees, they will die. Because first of all, they are tropical fish, like a little higher water temperature, usually the most suitable water temperature is between 25-28 degrees Celsius. Although goldfish can accept a lower water temperature, if the water temperature is too low, it will affect their growth and development, and over time they will get sick or die.
If the water temperature is below 20 C, the goldfish will stop eating and reduce its activity. When the water temperature is below 18 degrees Celsius, they will stop moving, when the water temperature is below 16 degrees Celsius, they are likely to die on the spot, although some of the better physique can persist for a few days, but not more than a week at most. Jinlongyu is sensitive to the change of water temperature, so it is better for breeders to keep the water temperature between 25 and 28 degrees Celsius.
1. Water temperature: As mentioned above, the favorite water temperature of goldfish is 25-28 ℃. Breeders need to use constant temperature equipment to keep the water temperature in this range in order to make goldfish live a better life.
2. Water quality: Jinlongyu has higher requirements for water quality. The PH value should be controlled between 6.5 and 7.5. It is better to change the water once a week at ordinary times, and the amount of water changed each time should be controlled at one third of the total amount. When changing the water, the temperature difference between the new water and the old water should not exceed 2 ℃.
3. Feeding: The goldfish likes to eat some live baits. The breeder can feed some loaches, insects, mealworms, barley worms, small fish, shrimps and other foods. At ordinary times, it should also be matched with some synthetic feed to ensure balanced nutrition. When feeding live baits, sterilization and disinfection are needed to avoid infection of bacteria or parasites in goldfish.
