Arowana cannot be raised in cold water, because they belong to tropical fish, and the water temperature in the country of origin is around 25-28 ℃. The temperature of cold water cannot reach above 20 ℃, so it cannot be raised with cold water. In addition, Arowana has higher requirements for water temperature and poor adaptability to the environment. If they are kept in cold water, they may get sick and die. The minimum acceptable water temperature for them is 16 ℃. If the water temperature is lower than 16 ℃, they will die directly. Although they can survive in the water temperature of 16 ℃, when the water temperature is lower than 20 ℃, their activity and food intake will decrease. There are some Arowana with poor physique, and they will get sick.

It is most suitable for Arowana to control its living water temperature between 25-28 ℃. They are tropical fish and need a higher water temperature to grow normally. In addition, Arowana has high requirements on water temperature and is sensitive to the fluctuation of water temperature, so it is best for breeders to install a heating rod for them to keep the water temperature constant.

Although they can accept higher water temperatures, they can also suffer from discomfort when the water temperature exceeds 32 ℃. When the temperature is on the high side, breeders should also pay attention to cooling down to avoid affecting their normal life.
