The main difference between tropical fish and non-tropical fish is that they are located in different climatic zones. Tropical fish include ornamental fish living in tropical or subtropical areas, mainly distributed in Southeast Asia, Central America, South America, Africa and other places. The Thai fighting fish fully meets the classification criteria of tropical fish. They are native to Thailand in Southeast Asia, live in tropical areas, and are very ornamental. Therefore, the Thai fighting fish is a typical tropical fish.
The living environment of tropical fish is relatively warm, and the temperature is mostly between 20 and 28 degrees Celsius. They have poor cold tolerance, so they can't accept too low temperature. Thai fighting fish as a typical tropical fish, its cold resistance is relatively strong, but it can not be raised in water with too low temperature.
Its optimum temperature range is 22 ~ 24 ℃, but it can survive in low temperature water at 18 ~ 22 ℃. If the temperature is lower, it will pose a threat to the survival of fish. When the temperature reaches 15 C, it will lead to the death of fish. Therefore, the lowest temperature it can withstand is 18 degrees Celsius. But in the winter when the temperature is lower, its cold resistance will also decline. Especially in the northern region, the water temperature for raising them should not be lower than 20 C, so as not to affect their normal life.
