Fish cannot live without water, and regulating water quality is an important condition for raising good fish. Specifically, the regulation of water quality is mainly carried out from three aspects of hardness, acidity and alkalinity, and stability. It does not require high hardness, but prefers to live in soft water. When raising it, the hardness of water should be reduced as far as possible.
As for the acidity and alkalinity of water, they can adapt to the pH range of 6.5 to 7.2. Therefore, Thai fighting fish can live normally in neutral, acidic and alkaline environment. But too acidic and too alkaline environment should not be used to feed them. In addition to water hardness and Ph need to meet the requirements, but also to ensure the stability of water quality. The fluctuation of water quality will bring discomfort to fish, which is not conducive to the healthy growth of fish.
When raising Thai fighting fish, it is very important to create a good water environment for it. According to its water quality requirements, it can be fed with neutral and acidic soft water. When they are raised at home, they often use tap water as their water environment. However, before use, tap water should be dechlorinated, otherwise it will lead to fish chlorine poisoning. When tap water is exposed to the sun for a day or two, the chlorine in the water is basically eliminated. After dechlorination, the tap water can be used to breed Thai fighting fish.
