The water for fish culture generally needs to be aired for several days before it can be used, and the time for airing is different in different seasons. In summer, the temperature is relatively high, and the residual chlorine basically volatilizes completely after airing for one day, while in spring and autumn, it takes two days, and in winter, it needs to be kept for about three days. And be sure to put it in a sunny and ventilated place, not in the shade.
1. Water change interval: The interval of water change is generally determined according to the water quality. If the water is turbid quickly, the water should be changed frequently. On the contrary, if the water can be kept clear, the time of water change can be extended. Usually fast words can only be changed three to four days, it is best to keep in a week, too often will stimulate the fish. If there is a filter, it can be changed once half a month.
2. Amount of water to be changed: The amount of water to be changed is generally about one fifth to one fourth. If too little water is changed, it cannot improve the water quality. If too much water is changed, it will be unfavorable to the growth of fish. However, when the fish are sick, the amount of water can be increased appropriately, but it can not exceed one third of the total amount of water.
3. Precautions: Make sure that the water temperature is not too different when changing the water. Otherwise, the fish will have a stress reaction. And do not use violence to change water, first insert the pipe into the bottom of the water, siphon the bottom of the water out. Then the new water is slowly poured in from the wall of the fish tank to avoid unstable water quality.
