The fish tank is oxygenated for about 2-4 hours every day. If aquatic plants are planted in the tank, they need to be oxygenated for 1-2 hours in the evening to avoid the competition between aquatic plants and fish for oxygen at night.
1. Install an oxygen pump: If the fish tank is anoxic, the first thing you want is to install an oxygen pump. This equipment can suck air into the water and produce a large number of bubbles, thereby dissolving oxygen in the water. It should be noted that the oxygen pump should not use too much power, on the one hand, it is easy to have noise, on the other hand, it will produce and filter different directions of water flow, thus affecting water quality.
2. Change the water in time: It is necessary to change the water for fish farming, which can not only improve the water quality, but also increase the oxygen content in the water. It should be noted that the water must be dried tap water, water quality is stable and residual chlorine has dissipated, will not cause harm to fish. According to the filtration situation, it is usually changed every one to two weeks, about a quarter of each time, too much will stimulate the fish.
3. Planting aquatic plants: Planting aquatic plants can also solve the problem of insufficient oxygen in the water body. It should be noted that the density of aquatic plants should not be too high, otherwise it will affect the ornamental value of the fish tank.
