In order to prevent the shrimp from being sucked away by the pump, gauze can be wrapped at the suction port, but this will also affect the filtration situation, resulting in faster decay of the water body. In addition to using gauze, you can also use a special protective cover, according to the size of the pump to choose the right model.
1. Control the water temperature: To raise shrimps, you must first control the water temperature. Unlike adult shrimps, it has strict requirements on the water temperature and cannot tolerate a slightly higher temperature. Usually, the water temperature should be kept below 25 C, but not too low, otherwise it will lead to freezing to death.
2. Maintain water quality: Shrimps generally do not have high requirements for water quality, but because the resistance of shrimps is not strong, the water quality should also be well controlled, so as not to make them too turbid and affect their survival. Filtration must be good, so as to maintain water quality is of great help.
3. Regular feeding: The shrimps do not need to eat for a few days after hatching. When they grow up a little, they will start feeding. Generally, they choose migratory water. If there are algae in the tank, they can also eat by themselves. If not, you can twist a little cooked egg yolk into the water, but must not be more, we must ensure that we can eat up.
4. Prohibition of polyculture: The most important point of raising shrimps is that they cannot be polycultured. No matter what kind of fish, they can be eaten up every minute. Different kinds of shrimps also have the habit of adult shrimps eating young shrimps, so pay attention to separation.
