Thailand betta is a relatively good ornamental fish. They don't require much water. When breeding, as long as the water temperature is well controlled and regular feeding is paid attention to, they can grow well. It is worth mentioning that they can swim to the surface when the dissolved oxygen in the water is insufficient and breathe air directly. Therefore, the oxygen pump is not needed to be used when breeding.
1, water temperature: Thailand fighting fish is a tropical fish, like 22-24 ℃ water growth. They are more afraid of cold, if the water temperature is below 20 degrees Celsius, there may be problems. Therefore, in winter, we should pay attention to keeping warm and not let them freeze.
2. Water quality: They are solid and do not carry water. They do not have too strict requirements on the acidity and alkalinity of water, as long as they are not strong acid or alkaline water, they can be used for aquaculture. When raising at home, tap water that has been aired is generally used as aquaculture water.
3. Change the water: When breeding, it is recommended to change the water once a week. Changing water can help maintain water quality and avoid water pollution caused by fish manure and feed residues. Every time you change the water, you don't need to change all the water, usually about one third of the water can be changed. Before changing water, the new water should be put in the sun to raise the water temperature, so as to avoid the sudden drop of water temperature in the tank after changing water, which will lead to their growth problems.
4. Feeding: They are not picky eaters. They can eat dried fish food as well as live bait such as red worms and tubificidae worms. When breeding, they are usually fed once a day. Don't feed them too much each time, let them eat until they are about 80% full.
