The sakura shrimp is one kind of fresh water shrimp, but is not the sea water shrimp. Fresh water is needed for aquaculture, and sea water can not be used. Because it can not adapt to the high salinity of the water environment, if it is cultured in seawater, it is likely to die.
1. PH: When raising sakura shrimp, you need to use water with a PH value between 6.0 and 8.4. It can not adapt to strong acidic water, nor can it adapt to strong alkaline water. If the water is too acidic or alkaline, they will not survive.
2. Water temperature: The sakura shrimp does not have a high requirement for water temperature, and can grow normally in water of 10-26 ℃. But when farming, it is recommended to keep the water temperature between 20-26 degrees Celsius, which can make them grow better.
3. Dissolved oxygen: Their growth needs to consume a large amount of dissolved oxygen, so it is better to use water that has been oxygenated in advance as aquaculture water. If there is an oxygen pump in the water tank, you can also use the water that has not been raised.
Generally speaking, it is OK to use tap water to raise cherry shrimp. However, because the chlorine in tap water can hurt shrimp, it can not be used directly. Water should be taken out in advance and put in the sun for 2-3 days to volatilize chlorine before use. If there is no oxygen pump in the water tank, some oxygen should be pumped into the water to increase the dissolved oxygen content in the water.
