The reproductive capacity of the sakura shrimp is very strong. When breeding, as long as the breeding environment is suitable, they can reproduce every month. However, it should be noted that too small shrimps do not have reproductive capacity and can not reproduce. Generally, shrimps grow for 2-3 months before they become adults and can reproduce. In addition, if the water temperature in the breeding environment is not suitable, they may not reproduce.
Cherry shrimp is oviparous animals, so the eggs are not shrimp. Shrimp eggs will hatch for a period of time before they become shrimps. After fertilization, the eggs are golden yellow, and after 2-3 weeks of incubation, they will turn green or black, and then hatch into shrimps. They usually produce 15-30 shrimps at a time.
Sakura shrimp does not require high water temperature, and can reproduce in water of 10-26 ℃. If the water temperature is low, the frequency of their reproduction is much reduced. If the water is too cold, they may not be able to reproduce. In the actual breeding time, it is recommended to keep the water temperature between 24-26 degrees Celsius. This water temperature is more suitable for their reproduction. In addition to the temperature of the water, they also need to control the acidity and alkalinity of the water in order to reproduce. It is better to keep the PH value between 6.5 and 7.2. If the water is too acidic or alkaline, they will not be able to reproduce.
