The serrated turtle is moderately difficult to raise in the semi-aquatic turtle. The saw-edge turtle is a semi-terrapin, so the requirements for the environment are not so strict, but it needs a certain amount of humidity, if the environment is too dry, it may grow poorly. In terms of diet, the serrated turtle is an omnivorous animal, so it is not particularly picky in terms of diet, but feeding live bait is the most appropriate.
It also has breeding difficulties, that is, temperature. Because it is extremely sensitive to temperature, if the temperature is very low, it is easy to grow poorly, so we should pay great attention to temperature. It is better to control the temperature within 20-30 deg C during cultivation. In addition, its character is also more fierce, so the breeding process needs to be more careful. Therefore, in general, the difficulty of breeding saw-edged turtles belongs to the medium difficulty.
As a semi-water turtle, the serrated turtle can be raised in water, but not in deep water. When breeding, it can be placed in a semi-water and semi-land environment, so that it can choose its own favorite environment. This is more conducive to its growth. When breeding, do not use very deep water, otherwise it may give birth to some diseases such as rotten nail disease, which is not conducive to its growth.
