The flame lantern fish does not have a very high requirement for water quality. They are docile and like to swim in groups at all levels of the water environment. As long as they can ensure that the water environment is clean and clear, and the ecological environment is good, it is relatively easy to raise them. But if the water ecological environment is not good, they are easy to get sick. So in general, they are moderately difficult to raise.
1. Water temperature: The flame lantern fish is suitable to be raised in the water environment where the water temperature is 24-28 ℃. At the same time, we should pay attention to the need to keep the water environment clean and clear, and often change a small amount of water. When changing water, the temperature difference between new and old water should not be too large.
2. Water quality: They prefer slightly acidic or nearly neutral water environment, so it is more suitable to keep the acidity and alkalinity of water between 5.6-7.
3. Feeding: They are omnivorous fish, and can be fed with animal bait or plant bait, but animal bait should be given priority to. When feeding, some worms or small crustaceans can be fed, and then other bait can be matched. Attention should be paid to the timing, quality and quantity of feeding, otherwise it is easy to cause disease. If the phenomenon of illness is observed, the sick fish must be isolated and treated in time.
