It is often heard that some fish friends feedback that the blue Ali fish is not easy to raise, in fact, this is only because they have relatively high requirements for the water environment. As long as the water environment is well controlled, they are still very easy to raise. They are mainly distributed in Lake Malawi in eastern Africa and belong to medium-sized fish. But they are not friendly to smaller fish and often prey on them, so they are not suitable for mixing with other small fish.
1, water temperature: Blue Ali fish like to live in a slightly higher temperature environment, so generally to control the water temperature between 22-30 ℃. Because they are sensitive to the content of nitrite in water, they need to change water frequently. When changing water, pay attention to keeping the temperature difference between new and old water not more than 3 degrees Celsius.
2. Water quality: They like to live in weakly alkaline hard water, and the pH value range of the water body is about 7.5-8. In such an environment, they will live very comfortably.
3. Feeding: When feeding them, baits such as mealworms, small fish, tubificidae, water fleas, red worms, shrimp meat and fish meat can be selected, and artificial feed with high protein content can also be selected for feeding. It is better to use active bait as the main feed and artificial feed as the supplement.
