1. Frequency of water change: Generally, the water can not be changed too frequently for the fish. The cycle of water change is determined according to the maintenance of water quality. If the fish tank is relatively small, there is no filtering equipment, water quality is easy to deteriorate, it is necessary to change once every three or four days, one fifth of each time. If the fish tank is large and has good filtration capacity, it can be changed once half a month, one third of which should be changed each time.
2. Water change method: If the water is changed in a large fish tank, a special water pump is needed. For manual water change, a pipe needs to be prepared. The water is sucked out from the bottom of the tank by siphon method, and then new water is added from the tank wall. In this way, water exchange will not cause fluctuations in water quality and water temperature, which is conducive to the growth of fish.
3. Precautions: The trapped water must be used for water change. It can only be used after drying to remove chlorine. Otherwise, the residual chlorine will be harmful to the health of the fish. In addition, pay attention to the water temperature, the new water can be a little higher than the old water temperature, but do not have too much temperature difference.
