The first thing to pay attention to when raising cold-water fish is the water temperature. The water temperature of cold-water fish should not be higher than 20 ℃, otherwise it will be life-threatening. However, most of the cold-water fish mentioned at present are actually some broad-temperature fish, which have a wide range of temperature adaptation and can survive in the environment of 0-40 C.
There are many kinds of cold-water fish, and their feeding habits are also different, so it is necessary to choose the appropriate feed for feeding. Usually feed 1-2 times a day, if the feeding is adult fish, you can feed once every other day. Do not feed too much, if there are a lot of residual bait in the water, it is easy to lead to deterioration of the water body, calmly affect the health of the fish.
It is also necessary to change water regularly when raising cold-water fish. The water change cycle is generally determined according to the water quality. If the water body is not well maintained, it will be changed once every three or four days, but usually once a week. If there is a filter in the cylinder, it can also be changed once a half month or a month, and about a quarter of the water should be changed each time.
Fish farming must pay attention to cleanliness, not only to clean up the residual bait, but also to remove the fish in the tank. If there is a filter, it can be sucked out, if not, it can only be sucked out when the water is changed. In addition, if there are signs of algae explosion, algae also need to be cleaned up, so as not to affect the dissolved oxygen in the water body, resulting in fish hypoxia.
