When raising a single fish, Chinese fighting fish are relatively easy to raise. As long as the water tank space is sufficient, and the water temperature is maintained within a certain range, timely feeding, they can grow well. However, because they are aggressive, they are not easy to herd. When breeding in groups, be sure to provide enough space and food, or they will fight and get hurt. If conditions permit, it is better to raise them alone rather than in groups.
1. Water temperature: Chinese fighting fish is a kind of tropical fish, and its favorite water temperature is 25-28 ℃. They have a certain ability to withstand cold, but if the water temperature is too low, they will still get sick or grow poorly. Therefore, it is better to keep the water temperature between 25-28 C when breeding.
2. Feeding: Chinese paradise fish is a kind of carnivorous fish. When breeding, you can feed some live bait, such as red worms, small earthworms, and brine worms. When feeding, disinfect the food in advance, do not let them eat unclean food, otherwise they may get enteritis. In addition, pay attention not to frequent feeding, feeding 1-2 times a day, feeding less each time, so that they can eat 7-8% full.
3. Change the water: It is not necessary to change the water frequently when raising Chinese fighting fish. If there is a filter system in the water tank, you can change the water every 10-12 days. If there is no filtration system in the tank, it is recommended to change the water once a week. The water can be tap water that has been put in the sun for 2-3 days. Do not change the whole water every time, about one third of it is OK.
