3. Water quality: Masked map turtles live in the water for a long time, and they have relatively high requirements for water quality. Therefore, if the water quality is not clean, their health is easily threatened. Therefore, they need to change water frequently when raising them, and a water circulation system can also be added to the water tank to ensure the cleanliness of the water.
4. Illumination: a certain amount of illumination is also necessary for them. They live in water for a long time and are likely to be attacked by various bacteria. Therefore, when raising them, they can be illuminated with some UVB lights, which can help kill bacteria.
