2. Water quality: The crested back turtle is an aquatic turtle, and its main activities are carried out in the water. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure the cleanliness of water quality. In spring and summer, we should pay attention to changing water frequently to avoid bacterial growth. When changing water, we should also pay attention to disinfection.
3. Temperature: It is best to control the temperature between 20 and 30 degrees for raising crown-back turtles. If the temperature falls below 15 degrees in winter, they will enter a state of hibernation. It is worth noting that at any time, the temperature can not be lower than 5 degrees, otherwise they will die.
4. Water level: The water depth should not exceed 1/3 of the turtle's back. If the water level is too high, they are likely to drown. If the water level is too low, they will have adverse reactions.
The crown back turtle is very good to raise, more suitable for novice breeding. They do not have high requirements for food, water quality, temperature and water level, and only need to be maintained under normal conditions.
