The difficulty of raising the flat-tailed tortoise is general, and it is easier to raise. They do not require high temperature and light. But when feeding, we should pay attention to controlling humidity. And they are more timid, they need to be provided with some shelter when breeding.
1. Temperature: They have a strong ability to adapt to temperature, and can keep the temperature at 20 to 28 degrees Celsius.
2. Food: They don't have a high demand for food, and there are many foods they can eat. They like to eat some vegetables and fruits best. Uch as cucumbers, carrots, lettuce, mushrooms or apples. When feeding, we should also pay attention to balanced nutrition. Because they are vegetarian turtles, it is easy to cause nutritional imbalance, so you can feed some balanced turtle food.
3. Humidity: Although they belong to tortoises, they have certain requirements for humidity in the air and the body. When breeding, a part of the breeding box needs to be set in an environment with water. And note that they can be sprinkled, sprayed or bathed in peacetime.
4. Illumination: Certain illumination conditions can make their shells healthier and effectively avoid bacterial invasion. When they are raised, they can be illuminated by UVB light.
5. Avoidance: They are timid. When they are raised, they can provide an environment conducive to hiding. In this way, their emotions can be more stable and grow healthier.
