1, parent selection: May to June every year, is the Ranchu breeding season. At this stage of reproduction, the first step is to select parents. Choosing the right parent goldfish has a great impact on the reproductive effect. Choose those goldfish with moderate size, about 10 centimeters in length, complete fins, obvious species characteristics, and age above two years but not more than four years. In order to improve the success rate of fertilization, the number of male Ranchia needs to be more than that of females.
2. Natural pairing: After selecting the parents, they need to be placed in a fish tank separately. Keep the surrounding environment suitable, the water temperature should be above 20 degrees, and the water quality should be kept clean all the time. In addition, light is a relatively easy to ignore factors, but also need to maintain appropriate light. In this way, they can naturally pair up.
3. Hatching: After a period of time, the female Ranchu will lay eggs, and the male will fertilize the eggs. After that, the parent fish can be fished out and the fish eggs can be hatched artificially. To keep the water temperature constant, it should not change too much and should not be lower than 15 degrees. After about 4-7 days, the eggs can hatch successfully. At first, you don't need to feed small fish, two days later you can feed egg yolk, 2-3 times a day. After the small fish grow to 1 cm, they can be cultured normally.
In the annual May to June, is the Ranchu goldfish breeding season. In general, they can only breed once a year, mostly in May and June when the climate is suitable.
