The rainbow shark is a relatively easy fish to raise. As a tropical fish, it has certain requirements for water temperature, but its requirements for water quality are not high, and it does not need to change water frequently when breeding. In terms of food, it has no requirements, belongs to an omnivorous fish, not only can eat most of the fish feed, but also can eat moss and water fleas in the fish tank. Its character is more timid, like to hide in water plants, so it is best to plant some water plants when breeding.
1. Water temperature: In the process of breeding, the water temperature should be controlled between 24-26 ℃, and during the breeding period, the water temperature should be controlled between 26-28 ℃.
2. Water quality: In general, neutral soft water is required for rainbow shark farming. PH value should be controlled between 6.8 and 7, and it is more suitable for old water, so it is not necessary to change water frequently, once a week or two. Replace a third or a quarter at a time.
3. Feeding: It belongs to omnivorous animals, can be fed a variety of food, but still should be based on live bait. Some foods such as red worms and yellow mealworms can be fed. It can be fed two to three times a day, and it can be eaten in about five to ten minutes each time.
4. Environmental Arrangement: It prefers to swim in the aquatic plants, so you can put some aquatic plants in the tank, such as big water orchid and so on.
