Pineapple fish is not a particularly easy fish to raise. It is a tropical fish, the water temperature requirements are relatively high. Moreover, they themselves have very high requirements for water quality, PH value and hardness. Also, their own disease resistance is relatively weak, so they need to change water frequently when they are cultured. Especially when pineapple fish is in the juvenile stage, it is very difficult to raise, and there are many problems to be paid attention to, especially water temperature, water quality and feeding problems.
1. Water temperature: As pineapple fish is a tropical fish, they have a particularly high requirement for water temperature. After they grow up, the water temperature can be maintained between 22 and 30 degrees, but they grow well above 26 degrees. If it is in the juvenile stage, then the water temperature requirements are higher, between 27-30 degrees is better.
2. Water quality: Pineapple fish also has high requirements for water quality. When farming, it is better to choose acidic soft water. Don't use water that is too hard, and don't use alkaline water.
3. Water change: Furthermore, attention should be paid to the problem of water change. Pineapple fish has a weak resistance to disease, if the water is very dirty, they are easy to get sick, so they need to change the water regularly. The frequency of water change can be judged according to the state of the water in the fish tank, try not to wait until the water quality is very dirty.
4. Feeding: Then there is the question of feeding. If you have time, try to feed every day, so that you can provide adequate nutrition. The variety of food needs to be carefully chosen. In the juvenile stage, they are more picky eaters, basically do not eat fish feed, you can feed them some frozen blood worms. After they grow up, they are not so picky about their food, and can feed fish feed, blood worms, shrimp and mealworms.
