We need to pay attention to the water used for raising Ranchu. Ranchu's requirements for water types are not too high. The PH value can be slightly acidic, and the water temperature can be controlled at 15-28 degrees. River water, lake water and so on can be used, but considering that they may be polluted to varying degrees, they need to be filtered and purified before use. Well water is also available, but the water temperature may be relatively low, you can use it again. Tap water at home is the most convenient choice, but it may be neutral or alkaline, and it contains more chlorine, so it must be exposed to the sun for several days before using it. When changing in new water, do not change the water temperature too fast, otherwise the water temperature will change very quickly.
Ranchu is a relatively good-looking ornamental fish. When breeding them, the depth of the water is a point to pay attention to. Generally speaking, it is better to control between 30-40 cm. If the number of fish is relatively small, it can also be controlled at about 25 centimeters. The depth is slightly shallow, so it is easy to control various factors of water environment, such as water quality, water temperature, PH value, hardness and so on; Moreover, fish in shallow water environment are also easier to raise.
If the water is too deep, it will affect the appearance of Ranchu development, resulting in their ornamental reduced. However, we also need to pay attention to the density problem, if the water is shallow, it is not recommended to breed too many Ranchus. Generally speaking, for about 1 cm long Ranchu, at least 3 liters of water is needed, and then longer Ranchu needs more space. Not too dense, otherwise it will affect their overall development.
