Golden rice shrimp is not difficult to raise. Its environmental adaptability is very strong, and its water requirements are not stringent. It requires low acidity and alkalinity of water, and can survive in weak acidic and weak alkaline water. It does not require high hardness of water, as long as it does not exceed 10. It is also not picky eaters, can eat algae, but also eat red worms, spinach and artificial shrimp food. Therefore, it is relatively easy to prepare food for it.
1. Water temperature: Golden rice shrimp does not require high water temperature, and can grow in water of 15-28 ℃. However, it is recommended to control the water temperature between 22-26 C when raising them at home, which is more beneficial to their growth.
2. Water quality: The pH value of water should be kept between 6.0 and 8.4. Although they are not adaptable, if the water is too acidic or too alkaline, they will not grow well. They also require less water hardness, as long as it does not exceed 10.
3. Water change: Generally speaking, it is recommended to change the water once a week. Each water change takes about a fifth or a quarter of the water, and you don't need to change all the water. Before changing the water, we should dry the water and raise the water temperature. Don't pour too cold water directly into the jar.
4. Feeding: It is recommended to feed every 2-3 days. The food can be cooked spinach, artificial shrimp or algae powder. Occasionally, you can feed some clean frozen dried red worms. Each feeding can not feed too much, let them eat until they are 70% or 80% full.
