2. Select and stock the parent fish: Then select the parent fish. Length is more important, to choose at least 30 cm long, weight at least 0.5 kg or more. Age is also more important, it is best to choose more than 3 years of scavengers, do not choose more than 2 years, otherwise their gonadal development is not good enough. After selection, they are stocked in fish ponds around the end of April.
3. Collect fish eggs: You can collect fish eggs at the beginning of June. The eggs of scavenger fish are special, they will be in the spherical sac full of eggs, can collect them. After they turn yellow, they can be hatched in the breeding tank.
4. Incubation: There are many factors to be controlled during incubation. The first is to change the water, preferably every day, after the spherical capsule is dispersed, it needs to be changed two or three times a day. It also needs to ensure the amount of dissolved oxygen, which can be supplemented by oxygen pumps and other tools when necessary.
Scavengers breed once a year. Their breeding season is between spring and summer. As mentioned above, they can be stocked in late April and the eggs collected and hatched in early June. However, the number of breeding is not necessarily, if the environment is suitable, it can be bred more than once a year.
