The size of the dinosaur fish is often related to the species and the growing environment. Those growing in the wild are generally larger than those raised at home. For example, the green and gold dinosaurs can grow to 40 centimeters in the wild, but can only grow to about 30 centimeters in a fish tank. The tiger-striped dinosaur king can grow to 70-80 centimeters, while the artificial breeding is only 60 centimeters. There are also some larger varieties, which can grow to 80-90 centimeters.
1. The fish tank should be big: If you want to raise the dinosaur fish to grow big, you must provide enough space for activities. Only in this way can it grow big. General small species can use 60 cm tank, want to grow to more than 50 cm, fish tank at least 1.5 meters long. In addition, because it likes to dig sand, it needs to lay 4-6 cm of sand at the bottom of the tank, and it can also put sunken wood to provide a hiding place for it.
2. Better water quality: Dinosaur fish like weakly acidic or neutral water, and their own requirements for water quality are not strict. Generally, tap water can be used to raise it after being trapped for a few days, and tap water can also be used directly for changing water. The water temperature is usually kept above 25 ℃, so that the fish can feed normally, if the temperature is too low, it is easy to cause it not to eat, affecting its growth.
3. Adequate feeding: Whether the dinosaur fish can grow up often depends on whether the food fed is enough. Basically, it is not picky about food, there are many choices for feeding, such as live bait such as small fish and shrimp, frozen Antarctic shrimp and fish grains can also be used as food, regular and quantitative feeding every day, do not starve it.
