1. Light: Water Ficus can grow under both soft light and strong light. If you want the plant to grow better, you need to provide enough light for it. Normally, it needs to be exposed to 6-8 hours of light every day.
2. Carbon dioxide: During the maintenance period, plants can grow normally with or without the addition of carbon dioxide. But if you want the plant to grow more vigorously, you can regularly supplement it with enough carbon dioxide to promote growth.
3. Water quality: It has certain requirements on the water quality environment, and it is easy to cause root rot when maintained in soft water. In order to make the plant grow normally, it needs to be placed in slightly acidic or neutral hard water for maintenance. The pH value of the water can be adjusted between 5.6 and 7.0, and the hardness of the water can be adjusted between 5 and 12.
Water Ficus plants generally do not need to use water grass mud. Because it is planted in water grass mud, its roots are easy to rot, which will affect normal growth. If you must use water grass mud to plant, you can directly insert the plant on it, let it grow by itself and take root. It can not be directly buried in mud, otherwise it will easily lead to root rot.
