Crown grass is relatively easy to maintain aquatic plants, they have strong adaptability to the environment, usually as long as the growth conditions provided for them are more suitable, the plants will grow better. When maintaining, in order to make the plant grow more vigorously, we should provide sufficient light for it.
Usually, the plants can be placed in slightly acidic or slightly alkaline soft water for maintenance, and the water temperature is maintained at about 24 ℃. It also needs to add carbon dioxide and fertilizer in an appropriate amount to ensure that the plant can get enough nutrients during its growth.
Crown grass can be directly inserted in the bottom sand. Because of the large plant line, it is not easy to fix the plant directly with aquatic mud, usually the plant can be planted directly in the bottom sand. Normally, about 4 mm of gravel or ceramsite will be used as a substrate for planting, before planting, a layer of about 7 cm thick substrate should be laid, and half of the water should be injected into the tank before planting the plants. Thereafter, for ease of management, the substrate may be further thickened and the flow of water in the tank slowed down to prevent the plants from floating in the tank.
