It is difficult to cultivate red butterfly aquatic plants. It is sensitive to water quality, and has requirements for water temperature, water hardness, water acidity and alkalinity, light intensity, carbon dioxide concentration in water and fertilizer. If the water quality can not meet the needs of its growth, it will die slowly. During cultivation, the color change can also be controlled by controlling water quality and illumination.
1. Water temperature: To cultivate red butterfly water plants, the temperature in the tank needs to be controlled between 25 and 30 degrees Celsius. Too high or too low temperature may have adverse effects on it.
2. Hardness: The hardness of water should be controlled between 2 and 12 when cultivating red butterfly aquatic plants. Excessive calcium content in water is not conducive to its growth.
3. PH: Red butterfly aquatic plants are suitable for living in weak acid environment. Therefore, the PH value of water can be controlled between 6 and 7 during cultivation.
4. Illumination: The growth of red butterfly and aquatic plants needs strong light conditions. Cultivation needs to control the illumination above 2000 Lux, enough light can make their color more bright and beautiful.
5. Carbon dioxide: Carbon dioxide is one of the important conditions for photosynthesis of the red butterfly aquatic plants, and sufficient carbon dioxide needs to be input into the water during cultivation.
6. Fertilizer: When cultivating red butterfly aquatic plants, pay attention to regular fertilization in the water, and apply some liquid fertilizer, root fertilizer or base fertilizer.
