The Japanese red butterfly water plant is not very good to raise. In order to make them grow better, we need to provide a suitable growth environment for them. They do not require high acidity and alkalinity of water, but they are suitable for growing in hard water environment, and need to keep the GH value of water between 5 and 12. Their leaves will become more red in high temperature environment, and they grow best in warm environment, usually keeping water temperature between 23 and 28 degrees Celsius.
1. Light: Japanese red butterfly aquatic plants need sufficient light during their growth period. During the maintenance period, they need to provide enough strong light and fertilizer to meet their growth needs.
2. Water quality: They are suitable for growing in water with high calcium content. They do not require high acidity and alkalinity of water, grow better in neutral and weak acidic water, and then prefer to grow in hard water environment. During the artificial curing period, the PH value needs to be adjusted between 5.8 and 7.0, and the GH value needs to be kept between 5 and 12.
3. Water temperature: They grow best in warm environments. Under normal circumstances, the higher the temperature of their living environment, the redder the leaves will be, but the leaves below will be easier to melt, so it is best to keep the water temperature at about 26 degrees Celsius.
