2. Internal fertilization: The turtle uses internal fertilization to reproduce, which needs to go through the process of mating first. When it comes time to breed, females and males will mate. If not, the eggs laid by turtles will not be able to hatch successfully.
3. In vitro incubation: The soft-shelled turtle is propagated by in vitro incubation. About two weeks after mating, the female turtles are ready to lay eggs, which are their eggs. The peak period of soft-shelled turtle laying eggs is from June to July every year. After a single mating, turtles can sometimes spawn multiple times. And then there's the incubation process. When hatching temperature is different, hatching time is also different; In addition, different varieties, incubation time is also different. For example, at a temperature of 30 degrees, the incubation time of the Chinese turtle will be about 45 days, but the incubation time of the Shanrui turtle will take 2 months.
As mentioned above, every year in June and July are the peak stage of turtle laying eggs. Mating once, the turtle can lay eggs many times. Moreover, the number of eggs laid each time is still relatively large, generally between 20-30. Of course, these eggs may not be able to hatch out, and hatched small turtles may not be able to survive.
