The Chinese tortoise belongs to the terrapin, but it is more resistant to drought, so it can survive in places where there is no water. Its temperament is relatively gentle, and it likes to live in small rivers in the wild. When the sun is better, it will climb ashore to bask in the sun. Under the condition of artificial feeding, it can be raised in a tank, and if possible, a pond can be built to raise it. When raising in a tank, some gravel and pebbles can be placed in the tank for it to climb. When the weather is good, you can put it on the balcony to dry your back.
Chinese turtle can be placed in deep water for conservation. It's a terrapin, and it's maintained in deep water closer to its habitat. However, for deep water curing, it is better to set up a shallow water area and a sunning platform in the curing area. Under normal circumstances, as long as the water depth is higher than the turtle back, it is appropriate to be about 40 centimeters deep, if the water is too deep, it will easily lead to suffocation and death due to choking. In order to facilitate its movement, shallow water areas and drying platforms are set up in the maintenance area, and it can also climb up the drying platform to dry its back in good sunshine.
