Tropical ornamental fish have relatively high requirements for temperature. Generally, the water temperature should be kept between 18 ℃ and 32 ℃. Some fish that can tolerate low temperature can tolerate the environment of 16 ℃, while some fish that like high temperature should be kept at about 25 ℃ to 28 ℃. It should be noted that if the water temperature is too low, it will affect the appetite of fish, resulting in it does not eat, or even may be frozen to death, the temperature is too high, the same is not conducive to growth.
1. Water drying in advance: 1-2 days before changing water for tropical fish, the water should be connected and put in a sunny place to dry. The purpose of doing so is to remove the residual chlorine in the water, so that the water can be used for fish farming. If not treated, the chlorine in the water will cause some harm to the health of fish.
2. Control water temperature: Tropical fish have certain requirements for water temperature, so the water temperature should also be well controlled for new water. Generally, the temperature of the water dried will not be too high, so you need to add hot water to it, so that you can raise the water temperature, feel the temperature with your hands, feel almost, you can prepare to change the water.
3. Slowly pour in: Before changing the water, first pump out the old water from the inside with the water pipe, and then slowly pour in the new water from the tank wall. Never change water violently, which will cause fluctuations in water quality and water temperature, affecting the survival of fish.
