To install the fish tank, first place it in the predetermined position to see if the bottom is flat and the height is appropriate. Because it is necessary to feed and change water at ordinary times, it cannot be placed too high or too low. At the same time, we should also pay attention to the overall stress of the fish tank, do not put things on it, in order to avoid uneven stress, so that the fish tank cracks.
After putting the fish tank in place, you can pour the bottom sand into the tank. Bottom sand can play a filtering role, but also can fix water plants, so according to the situation to control its thickness, generally about 3-5 cm. It should be noted that in order to prevent the sand from being washed away, we must first find a plate, put the sand into it, then slowly add water, fill it up and then take the plate out.
In addition to the bottom sand and some landscaping, the fish tank also needs a lot of auxiliary equipment, such as filters, heating rods, oxygenation pumps, etc., and some need protein separators and carbon dioxide supplementary equipment, etc. Put these equipment into the fish tank to check whether it can work properly, especially the filtration. It usually takes a day to drive first.
After all the above are ready, you can prepare to raise water. Pour the trapped water into the fish tank, pour in a proper amount of nitrifying bacteria, then turn off the light and explode oxygen for a period of time. After the water is turbid and clear, you can raise fish.
