1. Daily oxygenation: If the oxygen demand of the fish is relatively high, oxygenate every day. However, it is not necessary to keep the oxygen pump on all the time, 2-4 hours of oxygen filling is enough every day, unless it is summer or rainy weather, because the temperature is high or the air pressure is too low, the dissolved oxygen will also decrease, so it is necessary to add 2 hours of oxygen filling.
2. Open the tank and oxygenate: If it is the first time to raise fish, the new fish tank needs to be opened, and oxygenate for 24 hours when opening the tank. The purpose of doing so is to establish a nitrification system. Because nitrifying bacteria are aerobic bacteria, oxygen is sufficient to reproduce in large numbers, otherwise it will limit its growth.
3, sick oxygenation: If the fish is sick, it also needs to be timely oxygenation. On the one hand, insufficient oxygen may lead to deterioration of the disease, on the other hand, drug treatment often increases oxygen consumption, so oxygen supplement is needed.
