In addition, they also have certain requirements for water temperature. If the water temperature is very low, they are easy to get sick. Therefore, attention should be paid to maintaining water temperature when breeding.
1. Water temperature: Pearl Mary fish is suitable for growing in water with a temperature of about 24 ℃. They do not like low temperature water, and it is recommended to use heating rods to maintain water temperature when breeding. Never let the water temperature below 18 C, otherwise their activity will be reduced and the growth rate will be slowed down. In addition, fish that grow in cold water can easily get sick.
2. Salinity: Although it is a freshwater fish, it likes water with a little salinity. When farming, you can add a little salt to the water tank. This is not only conducive to their growth, but also can play a role in sterilization. But be careful not to add too much salt, otherwise they may not be able to adapt and die early.
3. PH: They prefer weakly alkaline water with a PH between 7.2 and 7.6. It can also be fed with neutral water. But if the water is very acidic, it will be very difficult for them to survive.
4. Feeding: They don't have high requirements for food. They can be fed with ordinary Mary fish food. The frequency of feeding is recommended to be kept to once a day, and young fish can be fed two or three times a day.
