The stress response of new fish usually disappears in three days. The reason why it will produce stress response, is due to changes in the environment so that it is a little nervous, this time it tends to lie on the bottom of the tank, not much activity, and feeding will not eat. This time needs to rest, do not disturb it, lest the situation is more serious, usually three days later will return to normal.
1. Changes in water quality: Changes in water quality are most likely to cause fish to have a stress reaction, and changes in water quality can be divided into many types, including changes in pH, hardness, and so on. If you want to maintain water quality, you must ensure that the water source is good, and at the same time use water quality regulators to purify the water body.
2. Temperature change: Any fish has a requirement for temperature. If the temperature changes too much, the fish will also feel uncomfortable, which will trigger a stress reaction. For tropical fish, the water temperature must be controlled between 20-30 degrees Celsius, and the temperature difference of one day should not be too large.
3. Too strong light: Light is also a factor that causes the fish to have a stress reaction. Generally, the fish tank is placed in a place facing the sun, which causes the fish to be often irradiated by strong light, thus causing discomfort. Usually, the tank should be placed indoors to avoid direct light, which can also prevent the occurrence of algae explosion.
