Sunfish are small freshwater fish. They are flat as a whole and look round. The body color of sunfish is bright, and there are many kinds of overall colors. Common sunfish have a metallic blue background with orange or yellow patterns on both sides. There is a soft film behind the eyes, and most of them are black in color. Their backs are bluish gray, and they also have gray-black patterns on them. Sunfish, with small head and high back and rich meat quality, is a fish integrating ornamental and edible.
There are more than 30 species of sunfish, and different species have different patterns and colors. In addition, different breeds have different body lengths in adulthood. There are some smaller sunfish, which weigh only 50-100g in adulthood, and some larger sunfish, which weigh about 2kg in adulthood.
2. What are the habits of sunfishSunfish are warm water fish, and they can adapt to a wide range of water temperatures. Under normal circumstances, they can survive in water temperatures between 1-38 ℃. If sunfish are cultivated in southern China, as long as the water temperature is above 2 ℃, it can safely spend the winter. Moreover, they have strong adaptability and miscellaneous feeding habits, and have no great requirements for the living environment. The yield of sunfish population is also relatively high, and it can reproduce naturally, which belongs to a kind of fish with relatively high reproduction capacity.
