The mother fish belly is big but not born, indicating that the time is not yet. Usually before the fish is about to give birth, there will be a lot of performance. For example, the fetal spot above the anus will become more obvious, and will swim irregularly in the water, sometimes hiding in a hidden place to prevent other fish from attacking it. Near the time of delivery, its anus will still protrude, and it will begin to pull some black feces.
1. Proper heating: If you want to hasten the birth of the female fish, the first thing you need to do is to heat up. You can put a heating rod in the fish tank and raise the water temperature by about 1-2 ℃. Stimulated by the temperature, it will want to spawn. But don't heat it all the time, it can cool naturally after heating for a period of time, and then heat it again.
2. Change water regularly: In addition to using temperature stimulation without hastening its spawning, you can also change water regularly for it. Adding new water into the fish tank can also promote its spawning effect. However, the water should not be changed too frequently, and the water quality fluctuates too much, which will also lead to dystocia.
3. Spawning by caesarean section: If you still cannot give birth through the above method, you need to give it a caesarean section, otherwise it will cause the mother fish to die from dystocia. However, after the caesarian section, the mother fish will basically not survive, but the eggs or small fish will have a chance to survive.
