The most suitable water temperature for breeding rays is between 24-27 ℃, because they are tropical fish and like to grow in a high temperature environment, so it is necessary to keep the water temperature above 24 ℃ during artificial breeding. If it is a low temperature area, it is best to install a heating rod to keep the water temperature in a stable range. The heating rod can not only raise the water temperature, but also keep the water temperature constant to avoid discomfort of rays. In addition, when changing water, we should also pay attention to the temperature difference between new water and old water, and it is best to control it within 3 ℃.
2. How to raise rays properly1. Water quality: Rays have high requirements for water quality, and they need to live in clean and refreshing water. The most suitable for their growth is weakly acidic water, which can keep the PH value between 6.5 and 7.2 in artificial breeding. They don't pollute the water quality seriously, so they don't need to change water frequently when they are raised artificially. If conditions permit, a circulating filter can be installed to keep the water quality clean.
2. Feeding: Stingray is a typical carnivorous fish, and their favorite food is live bait. When raising artificially, you can feed some live bait such as shrimp, loach and Zhu Wenjin. If there is no live bait, you can also feed some freeze-dried feed. Rays have a small mouth, so they should chop up their food when feeding.
