The map fish has a relatively large appetite, and it is an out-and-out big eater. There are many kinds of feed to be fed, such as earthworms, water fleas and so on in the juvenile period, and small fish, shrimps and loaches need to be fed after adult fish. To feed 2-3 times a day, each feeding mouth to control in half an hour to eat. It should be noted that if feeding loach, it must be cut into sections, can not be directly fed alive.
The map fish is relatively large in size and very slow in action, but it is very fierce in character and very greedy. As an oviparous fish, it will enter the mature period when it grows to 18 months, and it can reproduce several times a year, mostly in summer and autumn.
