puffer fish belongs to tropical fish because they are widely distributed, but their main distribution ranges are in tropical, temperate and subtropical regions. But the toxicity of different species of puffer fish is also different, like the common Takifugu, which is generally highly toxic. However, puffer fish of the family Stigmatidae and the family Boxidae generally do not have much toxicity. Although these two kinds of puffer fish are not toxic, it is best not to try them easily for the sake of their own health, so as to avoid endangering life.
